Two months.
Something may have been softening. The love stays — but the sharp edge of the grief, hopefully, is softening too.
The breath may come a little easier. And the mornings are still tender, but also slightly less heavy. And maybe you can think of them now and smile, more often than you cry.
Both are still allowed. Always.
And if none of that is true for you yet — nothing here is behind schedule. There is no schedule.
Two months of love, still loving. Two months of grief, slowly changing form.
